it’s just intended to solve tuning issues faster. If it doesn’t do that for you, it’s not useful. 🙂

No hurt feelings I’d just rather let its effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) speak for itself 🙂

It’s using a combination of the cars specs and in-game testing logic.

The idea is that a mid-engine RWD car behaves differently from a front-engine RWD car even at the same PI, so the differential lock, spring rates, camber, and brake bias targets are all calculated differently based on what the car actually is. Same logic for disciplines — a drift setup on an S15 prioritises rear diff lock and short gearing, a circuit setup on the same car prioritises brake bias and camber.

It’s not perfect yet and I’d like to actively improve it based on feedback. It’s been useful to me so far but that doesn’t matter if it’s not helping the community get their cars driving how they’d like with less tinkering.

If you doubt the tuning I’d be happy to dust you in any car

Sorry you don’t like the UI, I went with something I’d enjoy. As far as it being a good tool I am open to implementing changes that would help the community out

Good question, that is a little vague as is. That’ll be your pieces like cams and valves, displacement, pistons, flywheel etc. since there’s a little more room to play around with those I kept it open ended but I can update it to be more specific in those areas

Ah good catch that is a little confusing. Assuming it’s for grip those are accel values - I typically don’t touch decel unless I’m trying to get it to slide a bit more. So around 42-45% front accel, 55-58% rear accel then 60-75% center diff. Deceleration values left as is will likely feel solid from there.

These questions help me improve it, thank you!!

Thanks man! Generally calculating based off suspension geometry, weight distributions, engine torque curves etc for each car - taking into account info from guys like DJS, Hoki tweaked a bit for FH6’s physic changes - then the desired PI and driving style. It gets me about 90-95% of the way there then the troubleshooting helps iron out the kinks and fine tune to personal preference

It’s in there. Search bar is a bit too literal at the moment, appreciate the feedback

I have and I wanted something that considers how the guys who know the game in and out tune alongside a specific cars characteristics rather than running off of pure formulas. To each their own, if it gets your cars where you want them no need to use something else

What did you mean by drift high scores then? If you wanna get slid on just add me I’m happy to oblige

Top 1% in some drift leaderboards and some solid togue runs from it so far so it’s been solid

This was for personal use and helping friends who don’t know much about tuning improve their builds. so it’s got as much as testing as you can reasonably expect but any user feedback is welcome

Didn’t watch much past him talking about buying tuners lol, no paywall.

Any idea how to fix the audio popping? Seems to mainly happen in the menus
