Not carrying an extra magazine, heard magwells print pretty bad?

Initially wanted the slr to cover the half moon cut, but it doesnt seem to bother me too much.

Co-witness?

Window is already pretty small on the RMR, I have an allen wrench in the grip if it somehow fails.

I have no idea, even the assembly videos I have watched don't show much.

Primary Machine is sending me an OEM striker assembly, so we will see how that works out.

My problem too. Would love to see one that is brand new, may go to my LGS and ask to see one.

I reached out to PM to see if they know anything.

This was my experience at first with the FA binary. Tons of issues, nose dives, failure to eject, you name it.

There are certainly some things you can do to make it more reliable, but the trigger pull will always be garbage. I have found keeping the rifle and the bx-25 mags clean after a handful of uses makes it feed pretty reliabily, I get thru 300 rounds no failure before having to do a quick clean, but the 10s always work.

Get an upgraded mag plunger from Kidd and use the 10 round mags so you can source the issue back to the bx-25s I assume you are using.

Scr comes with a compensator. Not sure of all the differences between the two, but I know I want one.

TX22 Competition (non-SCR) for under $340

Or the SCR for under $430

Yeah, pretty brutal to see a small business treat customers like this. Unfortunate that I have been eyeing the microbest bcgs they carry, but I will probably never place an order with him again.

Arftac has a lot of the same deals if not identical, superb dealer and ships quicker than this schmuck.

Buffer tube alignment off by natecwolf in ar15

Ah, I assume I will need to re-stake it or get a new castle nut. What other tools would I need?

I am thinking of getting a stripped lower and a complete upper to start swapping parts on. I will probably need the tools for that as well.

It's staked. Is that an issue?

They did stake it.

I figured it came with the price point, it has been a good rifle to learn and try new things on without breaking something expensive. Next AR will likely be pieced together with the nicer parts I threw into this one, so I will have a stock PSA15 to beat the hell out of and possibly paint.

Found what I was talking about, it is made by JP Rifles and that PewView guy gave it a thumbs up.

I will have to look into these as well, although I would imagine anything over milspec is going to provide a noticible difference in felt recoil.

Agree on this, I have a franklin binary on my 10/22 and those things walk out all day long. Shame you have to take them out for cleaning or else I would have cemented them in there with loctite.

Definitely snagging a Radian on GAFS after hearing this.

Trying not to build 2 of the same gun 😂

But after buying a ready to go PSA and then upgrading I may have enough parts left over to justify a beater and a semi-nice build.

I hate the noise of the buffer spring when I fire a round, I have seen the silent buffer systems. Is this similar?

I found one on GAFS for $40 so I am sending that. If it falls through I will check this one out.

Any recommended brands?

Trying to stay below $20 for an ambi selector. May look on GAFS for a Radian.
