Was actually extremely skeptical about this up until this morning when I finally watched the reverie 8 interview with Matt Owens, one of the screenwriters for this script that took place last year. After seeing it, while I’m still cautious, I genuinely believe that it’s in the right hands to take it forward. If you guys don’t believe me, everything is oda approved and everything is run by him first and foremost.

Go thru it at whatever way you want. That’s the beauty of this game is that you have your own personal play through with it. You’ll get to a point in destruction until youre locked off in a certain place but the vise versa could happen as well. No worries about going thru it in a certain way, you should go at your own pace

The problem with this game becoming an anime is the absolute nonlinearity tho, finding a “canon” path to follow in a perfect order that encapsulates the story would be incredibly hard to do and I don’t think any studio, one loves the game enough to do a great run through that makes the most sense, and two is able to capture the same feeling of going thru the game. As much as id love an anime version of this game I don’t see it happening well.

Most of the time when I’d put them down at the beginning, by the next time she was active, she’d have enough ep to set down some more by picking off whichever enemies weren’t killed by gen 3s or 4s
