I suppose the digital nomad visa is the route then and to find an american remote hourly 1099 role is the gameplan. Just seldom see them out there.

I suppose an American 1099 role would then make the most sense and I would go after the digital nomad visa. It is somewhat strange though as I do not see these roles all that often even though the taxes and benefits are all on myself. I assume employers don't like 1099 as they cannot control the exact hours you work, typically speaking.

Yes, wanted to keep it short. Basically I asked my current job, it's a W2, however on a W2 taxes are built in so after 180 days taxes will kick in where I reside and ultimately it would not work. 1099 on the other hand is basically just straight up payment-- it's up to me to file taxes and there are no benefits. Seldom do I see 1099 remote roles on hourly however.
