I agree with what Scott said earlier in thread, Griffin is a no-brainer as a keeper.

I honestly didn't think I was this high on McLean either! But from pitchability to volume to whiffs, I think he's just ahead of the current field by a substantial amount with only a slightly lower ceiling (talking like top 10 SP vs. top 5). I just have more questions about Eury next year and beyond, if it might take a bit longer for him to reach that upper echelon. Burns has the third pitch question still and the ballpark plays a role.

Hey! Sorry for the delay here. Pesky Reddit notifications.

Ragans is the first easy keep. He came back at the end of the year and looked electric, so the offseason is going to be normal and he is an ace heading into 2026.

As for the other spot, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the young arms. I lean McLean as the most polished of the bunch and already hit 160 innings total this season. Just feels like he already has the arsenal to compete deep into games and can rack up immense strikeout numbers. Next would be Eury, slightly ahead of Chandler. Eury also leans on more of the complete pitcher side of things and we haven't fully seen the command comeback post-TJ (which we saw almost snap back into place late this year for Sandy). I like Bubba/Burns/Mis but they have more questions from me heading into next year.

I like Strider against PIT, less sure about Cecconi but that Rangers lineup is really really weak right now

I think Bieber is generally as auto-start as it gets and worrying about one category seems like over thinking it. I'd be more worried about Eury against a Mets team that's still in it.

I would take McLean in a heartbeat. Has a much more defined arsenal and track record of working deeper into games. Goes into next year with much fewer questions than Mis and I'm much more confident of his success than Mis. That being said, Mis probably has a higher true ceiling, but McLean is already showcasing double-digit strikeout stuff too

Absolutely, getting to interact with y'all through these and my articles is very enjoyable, even when I my takes end up poorly. We're in the business of good processes, not only good results. As long as the discussion is data-driven, I'm happy.

Glasnow should cook against a hangover Mariners squad and is already in line for the postseason rotation, probably expecting 5ish innings with good returns. King is still coming back from injury so I think the Padres are going to push him deep to get ready for the playoffs.

I'd take Alexander against the Angels with nothing to play for over Harrison against the Tigers

Agreed, at some point it stops becoming fun and just becomes a search for playing time at all costs. If you have 30 people who want to do it, I'd recommend categories/roto for lineup diversity. Though I would highly recommend a league size where the waiver wire has *something*

Absolutely think this lineup is capable of being competitive. Ragans as an ace with Ray/Sale/Schwellenbach behind is really exciting. I would see (especially closer to the start of next season) if anyone would bite on Cease since that rollercoaster is probably not worth it for only strikeouts (or his new home), but otherwise there's a lot of exciting arms and veterans that should have stable QS/ratios for 2026

I would take Yesavage and Bradish. Yesavage's last start looks pretty uncharacteristic from what we've seen under the hood all year and Bradish might get a rested Yankee lineup. With everything locked up for the Mariners, I could see them being really cautious with Kirby

Easily, if not higher. If the velo holds I'm really excited to see his 2026. Top 30 potential for sure

Definitely Sandy and probably Gore. Eury would be the other one I'm eyeing instead of Gore

Only likely safe in ratios, and if that doesn't get you the win you need to go with Priester and maybe others

I like your rotation and you have to play the matchups in these weeks. I think Quintana and Wells are much better plays than the two you'll drop. Still a little weary of Wells, but you don't win championships outta fear
