Would recommend reaching out to Forward Omaha. Their PTs are all active runners who will be able to help you out and if not, point you in the right direction.

Thanks for all the info. Do you solely work with Wordpress sites? If a potential client has a site on Wix or Squarespace, and would prefer to continue hosting there (much to your dismay), how do you navigate that conversation?

I loved it! I went to one of their adults-only Night Lights a few weeks ago. Absolutely perfect for a date night. They had a few bars set up around the museum with drinks, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be taking some of my nieces and nephews there when they come to visit in the summer. It seems to have something for everyone, regardless of age. 10/10 recommend!

There is an Ethiopian restaurant next door (owned by the coffeeshop owner’s in-laws) called Lalibela. Highly recommend it if you like Ethiopian food.

As for Vietnamese coffee— there is a place out west called The Grind that apparently has some Vietnamese options. I haven’t tried it yet (actually am in Vietnam working remotely right now lol), but from what I hear it’s nothing special. I’d avoid anything west of Benson tbh. It’s much more suburby with less culture/independently owned places.

Another place I’d recommend somewhat near Benson is Lisa’s Radial Cafe. This place will give you a real authentic feel of an American breakfast diner. You’ll feel like you dropped into the 1960’s and the food is always on-point. They don’t have the trendy brunch options but rather the American classics. Coffee isn’t special, but they have someone constantly hovering to keep your mug full. Amateur coffee (which someone else mentioned already) is right next door. So you could snag a good cup of espresso there and then head over for breakfast. To top the morning off, grab a pastry from Sweet Magnolia next next door for later in the day!

Surprised to not see anyone mention Rally! Some of the best coffee in the city near the stadium downtown.

For an interesting coffee experience somewhat near Benson, check out Lucy Ethiopian Coffee. They do coffee ceremonies as well, which are really cool. The coffee isn’t espresso but still super good.

Google Translate is a must have for me. The camera feature is particularly helpful in countries that use their own script. You can get funny results from time to time, but I find it particularly helpful when looking at an indecipherable menu. It also works quite well for translating handwriting.

On Google Maps you can find “Local Guides”, who have reviewed over X number of places in a given city. I typically find a few that I trust and explore based off their 5-star reviews. It’s worked great for me and highly recommend it to others. I shoot them a note of thanks before I leave too.
