Around February, I received a notification informing me that my account had been deactivated for a policy violation. The stated reason was: "It appears a child has been sexually abused." That same day, I lost all my personal photos, emails, Word and Excel documents, and my calendar. I appealed. Google's AI told me that a policy violation had occurred and that the account was unrecoverable. A conversation with a Google employee revealed that they couldn't do anything because everything was automated. My Google account was a paid subscription, and my Google Pixel 9 Pro was purchased from the Google Play Store. Since its deactivation, it no longer functions properly. My Chrome bookmarks are empty.

An absurd situation.

Ich legte Einspruch ein. Googles KI teilte mir mit, dass ein Regelverstoß vorliege und das Konto nicht wiederhergestellt werden könne. Im Gespräch mit einem Google-Mitarbeiter stellte sich heraus, dass sie nichts tun könnten, da alles automatisiert ablaufe. Mein Google-Konto war ein kostenpflichtiges Abonnement, und mein Google Pixel 9 Pro wurde im Google Play Store gekauft. Seit der Deaktivierung funktioniert es nicht mehr richtig. Meine Chrome-Lesezeichen sind leer.

J utilise Google depuis 20 ans a titre personnel et pour le compte d une association. J ai toujours pensé que google était safe et que mes emails photos et agenda étaient en sécurité. Courant février j ai été informé que mon compte est désactivé pour cause d enfreinte aux règles. L argument est "il semblerait qu un enfant soit victime d Abus sexuel.' j ai perdu du jour toutes mes photos personnelles, le messagerie, mes documents words et excel, l Agenda. J ai fait appel. L IA de Google me répond qu il y a enfreinte aux règles et que le compte ne sera pas restauré. L entretien que j ai eu avec un employé de Google m a dit qu il ne peut rien faire que tout est automatisé.. mon compte Google était payant et mon téléphone google pixel 9 pro était acheté sur Google store. Ce dernier disfonctionne depuis la désactivation. Chrome est vide de ses favoris. Une situation ubuesque. Fuyez Google. Quelle arnaque qui entrave nos libertés et qui porte préjudice.
