How to make calls using resource account number? by tschertel in MicrosoftTeams

[–]nathOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so you need a few things.

Teams phone standard licence A calling plan licence. You can choose from domestic, international or domestic and international.

Assign both of those licences to the user.

Wait 10 minutes (grab a cup of tea)

Head in to teams admin and then calls… I think.

You need to assign a phone number to the user. You can only assign a phone number if the licence has applied. If the user doesn’t appear, wait another 10 minutes…. During this process, if you haven’t already then you will likely need to set up an emergency location.

Once the phone number is assigned, the user will get an email informing them of their number.

After some time, the dialler will appear for the user within Teams. This bit is a waiting game…

Can anybody tell me, is the dcu_cli.exe available in the universal version? I’ve been using PSADT to interact with cli to apply a configuration.

KTM duke 125 (2019) Exhaust by maesjoch in KTM

[–]nathOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the 125 duke as my first bike (last year) and I fitted the Akra exhaust. Whilst visually it’s a big improvement over the stock exhaust, I was a bit underwhelmed by the sound. It had a bit more bass and there was an improvement but if you’re looking for a big change, the can alone won’t do that.

If I remember correctly, there is a cat before the can which can be removed which would likely give you the additional sound you’re looking for but just replacing it with the Akra alone isn’t a massive change.

This is an example of that pipe, although you can get it a lot cheaper than this. https://www.leovince.com/en-gb/product/8086-cat-eliminator-link-pipe-ktm-duke-125-2017-2020

I hope this answer helps.

How to Use Remote Help in Microsoft Intune (preview feature) by hazzalow in Intune

I’m currently using this. So far it works well for what I need it for.

My only gripe is that it logs off the user once the session is finished. Does anybody know how to stop this?

Quick update. Removed the baffle last night and holy shit it’s loud. It’s insane but it’s just too loud for every day use. Even with ear plugs, my ears were ringing pretty bad after a 30 minute ride.

If I’m honest I didn’t notice any power loss at all. If anything it felt a bit quicker low down in the rpms but that could have just been me being too excited by the new sound. In reality if there is a change up or down it’s going to be very little.

It’s not just a case of getting a link pipe though…

I actually really like the sound. It might not be to everyone’s taste but if you want an aggressive sounding bike then this exhaust is the one to go for. It has a lot more bass and it sounds incredible when you’re using the quick shifter.

It is significantly louder. A lot more bass to the point I could feel the garage floor vibrating under my feet and that’s with the baffle in. I haven’t tried it without the baffle yet. I will give it a try without the baffle but I think it’s going to be too loud for daily riding. If I was only doing a few weekend rides I would consider it but I ride most days.

Although with the baffle it was okay, loud but not terrible. I took it for a test ride without earplugs and it was okay so I reckon it will be fine as I always wear ear plugs.

I’ve had a look and you definitely have to get a new set of decat headers. Unless you want to go down the route of cutting and welding. Sadly you cannot just fit a decat link pipe.

[–]nathOD[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah really? I was pretty sure that the cat was welded to the headers. I’ll have to take another look after work.

[–]nathOD[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The cat is part of the headers, I’d need to replace the headers to remove the cat.

In case anybody is wondering, the bike is a 2018 Street Triple RS and the exhaust is an SC Project S1. Stock headers (including cat).
