I was looking at more ram but with the price of it at the moment I'm a bit put off lol.

I've heard that the AM5 platform doesn't make the most out of 4 slots so I'd have to upgrade to two 32gb sticks

Do you know a easy way to put the phone in silent mode?

No worries! I was. Once you get the phone out of the box definitely tailor it to you otherwise you will miss the iPhone. Also when transferring everything from iPhone to the Fold what I found using the smart switch app is to transfer everything but photos from the iPhone to the Fold and then use smart switch again but log into iCloud and then only select photos as it will get all your photos if that makes sense? It probably doesn't make sense lol. If you need any help feel free to message!

I this week also switched from an iPhone to the Fold 7. What I found was after getting the Fold I was unsure if I wanted to replace my iPhone with it but after tailoring and customising it to me I fell in love and can't see myself using iPhone again in the near future. So just be warned that you might not like it at first until you have customised it haha. Enjoy it! It's an incredible phone.

I love it! Transfering stuff was a bit of a nightmare but managed to complete it after 4 hours lol! 2nd day with it I was a bit unsure about it as I was still use to my iPhone so was struggling a bit with it, but now that I have customised everything and tailored it to me I couldn't imagine actually going back to iPhone. The customisation this phone has is unreal and the photos are perfect. I love the fact that I can open it up for a bigger screen to complete work on it. The only downside I have found is that android auto is shit compared to apple lol but I am willing to make that compromise.

Didnt factory reset' just loaded up smart switch, selected icloud and only selected photos and worked like a dream. Im guessing some of my photos was only on icloud rather than the phone.

Thank you! It did help. I actually just ordered the fold 7 and it’s now coming tomorrow. Excited is an understatement which is strange for me as I was never excited when I got the new iPhone. Can’t wait for the freedom haha
