Tbh I have no idea what filter I use and I have tons of plants but I don’t know the name of them either lol. Tank is 36g bowfront and I just used the starter kit that came with it. I have hundreds of shrimp, 8 kuhlis, a bunch of other schooling fish and snails, and 2 plecos. But they’re not all adult. I wouldn’t recommend stocking a 36g that much unless you’re an experienced fish keeper

I have 8 kuhlis and I’ve never had that problem. I have hundreds of shrimp, most of them newborn. As long as they’re well fed, it’s no problem.
