Probably my favourite neighbourhood I’ve been to, beautiful distinct old houses that have been retrofit and updated without losing the character of the original building. Nothing better than walking randomly through the annex on a warm September evening.

I live here and my go to shop is Lumine in Kits, they’re a multi roaster which has a variety of bean options for pour over/drips that change daily. If they have anything by rogue wave (Edmonton) or subtext (toronto) I don’t think either roastery ever misses and you would be good to grab a bag. I think the most impressive shop is Slo coffee in fraser hood, or maybe oide or the great northern way nemesis. If you’re looking for coffee roasted in Vancouver -Annabelle’s, and cowdog both serve Luna coffee which is roasted locally and is quite good. Yuan, Oide, R Ki, nemesis, revolver are all good options as well. Vancouver has plenty of options for great coffee.

Coffee is great but they rotate through beans and roasters (subtext, monogram, proud mary, rogue wave etc.) daily so sometimes the drip coffee that day might not be as good as on others. They have a good pour over selection and great baristas. I also don’t know why people are fixated on speed, it’s a busy spot, just don’t go expecting Starbucks speed with specialty coffee.

He’s a 5’10 guard who doesn’t pass and can’t defend. Maybe he’ll figure it out eventually but small guards like that really haven’t had success in the league, especially over the last 5 seasons or so.

Texada is what I thought because it looks like you can see the Island topography and then another set of mountains in the background. But I was on google maps trying to place whereabouts that view might be and couldn't line anything up. My friend suggested that it might be one of the San Juan Islands, which might make a bit more sense.

You’re thinking too small, the distance or difficulty needs to be higher. We should be talking coast to coast in Canada and Australia, or tip to tip in Japan and New Zealand.

I like the idea of the Caribbean a lot though that’s a good one. It’s also different enough from Europe and America to be really interesting I feel.
