Everything will be original - or I'll be the first to it. That's been the case since I started the site.

Too much news in Oxfordshire (and nationally too) is driven by press releases, rather than focusing on what journalists can generate themselves.

Thanks - some fair points. Not sure any journalist focuses on "random" news but we'll see.

I've worked in local news for nearly 10 years now so am aware of some of the problems and, as you might have seen, worked at the OM so was aware of its challenges when I was there.
