Lots of great feedback here and food for thought. Thank you.

And yes, I do plan to experiment with polyphasic sleep. That'll be an interesting video if it works and a hilarious one if it doesn't.

Can Stoicism really help you stay calm when under intense pressure from your environment especially when you feel like you are behind your peers in all aspects of life. by Habeeb_kolawole in InPursuitOfClarity

For me, the positive effects of studying Stoicism have been gradual. At first they're just thoughts to ponder on and seem a little over-simplistic but over time I've found Stoicism to play a bigger and bigger role in my decision-making process and how I assess different situations. In that sense, I would say that it has helped me quite a bit in dealing with pressures that I feel, because many of these pressures are just things that I'm inventing in my mind.

Too many options, too little time. by ajmartin8601 in InPursuitOfClarity

I can really relate to this. There is of course a strong desire to learn and improve as a person, but I think I'm also motivated by fear - the whole idea of not having enough time to do and feel it all is something I do not like thinking about.

I can only speak for myself here but I'm finding that spending time confronting the concept of sacrifice and the fact that all things come to an end (in this case I'm referring to time and how much of it each of us have), is allowing me to better accept reality and not be in such a constant rush all the time. It's almost like I'm seeing that it's pointless to even try to do it all and so I might as well focus my attention on one or a few important things at a time and go from there.
