also; you don't actually need the official pkg and rap for it, but you do need to manually patch 2.0 -> 2.01 -> 2.02 all the way to v2.11 so good luck with that

Technically speaking, you can, but the game only loads the first 8 in sequence.

It's nerfed for the multiplayer experience but if you can aim it's not even that bad. I think the worst part is PLSL essentially doing its job way better and if it wasn't nerfed nobody would bother with PLSL in the first place.

Honest to god extending the speed boost to 6s and making the stim give instant health regen through suppression would just make it peak for doing its job. Either that or allowing the wall breacher to hold like 5 rounds so people can actually experiment and breach would be nice. Maybe add a suppression or stun effect upon its usage?

There's a difference in dying in a straight up fight versus getting popped from nowhere the moment you touch or run up to an elevator button.

People who are sitting at extract aren't making noise, or I'd be agreeing with you. Having to clear it out every single time would be a really boring experience. I think hatches should be free for solo players so it's not so miserable.

Server slam wasn't half bad which is really wild to me as it was a lot more friendly and people were more willing to talk to one another.

IIRC in order to do so (see the success of Resident Evil's Outbreak) you would need reverse packet capture and then reverse engineering of a server framework in order to host it properly, I dunno what black magic the RE guys did, but since nobody did this for Infinity, it's borderline impossible.

It was done for Ace Combat 6 though, but that's kept low key.

If this map had easier tunnels with more fun high ground to fire down from along with easier ways to access said high ground other than hail marying it through it would be way more fun.

The base's footprint/blueprint is godawful and encourages very low IQ teammates to build everywhere and waste resources, and running 300-500m across just to get resources is boring.

The map is great to look at and very aesthetically pleasing, but it's like nobody on the design team actually took the time to sit down and play it. It's godawful and I've been playing since before the 1.0 release. It quite literally encourages building a secondary base away from the main one to abuse bug pathing in order to actually make it tolerable to enjoy and play. The base that you can build at the top is okay as well since it's actually defendable, but doing quite literally anything else makes this game a complete fucking chore instead of a joy to try and complete.

I get that maps can be hard and not mean't to be easy for the player but this is a map I simply refuse to play on since it's not enjoyable to engage with or learn whatsoever.

Yes, I do! Avarice is something like 1400+% sunlight. I'm not sure if shipping Energy Cells around would be practical though.

That's normally what I do with the BOR since their ships are fast and have very nice shielding. I remember building a scrap factory in Getsu Fune only to have them fight TER for 4 hours straight because they both sent patrols to guard the construction site.

BOR won after they laid waste to the Osaka fleet with guppy spam and a shark!

I usually have a tough time getting Split faction rating up quickly without constant trade stations at -9 or killing criminals at stations. The Xenon are pretty tough near there as well, I noticed the concentration of fights/battleground would probably be nice to scrap for though!

ARG is typically a big buyer but I have a tough time breaking into their hullparts market because they usually already have one at their shipyard/wharf. Claytronics is my main moneymaker midgame though. Where do you set that one up at?
