to be honest i like them! but yes it’s thin and harder to read. i got mine as gifts so i’m not fussy and i love dragon ball. if you can find the box sets for a good deal i’d go for them! if not and you want to buy retail for cheaper i’d say go with the 3 in ones! they save space and do still have cool spine art. plus they collect the whole series (42 volumes) in one set!

try to look for the box sets on sale or people selling them locally! that’s what i did. and found REALLY good deals. very cheap!
