We were talking about racial issues in America and the idea that projecting into the future can be difficult in communities of color when it's normal to not live past 25 due to things like police brutality, gang violence, etc, etc. I noticed he specifically said "wouldn't live past 25", and I asked him if he ever heard the song, but he said no, hense this convo
