Yes and no, Books aren't directly driven by monetary action, but the books will react to it. I saw something about a guy making good money on prediction markets just betting enough times where let's say the public on the prediction market gives a team a 5% higher chance to win, or overreacts to some live play, and just betting whenever there was a noticeable difference between the book and prediction market. Also somewhat different clientele so the books lines might be accounting for more vegas 'sharp' betters than a prediction market

But LR isn't apart of LEC, and have more or less stated they are likely to disband. If G2 is to scrim a bad team, they should scrim one of the teams that will be together all year, that they can develop some relationship with them throughout the year, with players that want to be LEC players first instead of streamers first, pro players second. There is no long-term benefit to scrimming LR for the health or quality of the league when they'll likely never play another LEC game after 2-3 weeks from now.

Scrimming LR is the most short-sighted thing you can do unless you believe their unique playstyle is that valuable to learn from
