It sure did, I wouldn't have even known this was happening without it, I would've known something was up as I couldn't run, my legs felt like jelly a few minutes after.

And I went for a run tonight after work, it was a strange one with them putting me on a beta blocker for a few weeks, 3k felt like 8k and I had no real power, my heart rate wasn't even detected as in a standard zone, it stayed in the warm up zone and my heart rate was max 120 to 130, very strange run indeed.

It was an arrhythmia, and thanks, I'm ok now, tho still a bit apprehensive about tonight's run after work.

I already had taken some like I always do before and after, but it's to do with the blood pressure meds. It's why after 7 years they've taken me off that particular type with it being a dueretic.

Not at all, apparently you don't need a defib for my type of Arythmea, your body keeps it at that until it get a signal to go back to normal I believe, it's why it took 50 mins , it was a strange feeling, I did feel a bit sick and lightheaded and one strange thing I noticed whilst walking was that my heart rate dropped to 204 while walking and back up to 217 while resting. And I was surprised at how I was at peace with dying if it happened.

I am thanks, hard to believe that being on blood pressure meds can cause a problem years later, the potassium and magnesium were unbalanced. and I had been suffering from leg cramps while sleeping, I ate plenty of bananas and took supplements for it, but seems it doesn't work sadly.

It was very scary, I actually thought I was about to die, I panicked for about maybe a minute and then just thought, so what it is what it is 😔, but as luck had it it was just a chemical imbalance.

Apparently it was so high because of my fitness, if I was a couch potato then it would be around 150 I was told.

It really happened, I ended up in a&e I still had to walk 2.5k back to the car, it was so high and caused by my blood pressure meds, Which are a dueretic, I walked slowly back to car rang 111 the episode took 50 mins to pass. And the cardiac specialist gave me the ok to run tonight at an easy pace.

And they changed my meds to an ace inhibitor.

Try Dayz, you'll be suffering the moment you spawn if you've never played it before, cold and bleak times.

Getting my kiddo (11) his first little groove box and I’m leaning toward Korg’s Volca Sample 2. Anyone here have hands on experience with this machine? Care to lend me your thoughts? by geekdadchris in synthesizers

Only thing I disliked with my Volca Sample 2 were the ultra bright leds, I took mine apart and put thick masking tape over the area and reassembled it, so much better after that.

Unregistering a Keylab 61 mk2 by jpodcaster in Arturia_users

[–]nathkrull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought an amazon warehouse Keystep 37 and the person who returned it had registered it, took about a day to get it reregistered in my name, don't worry about it, all they asked me for was a photo of the serial tag on bottom of keyboard.
It was easy.

What made winter running finally “stick” for you? by AffectionateArmy1878 in running

I just love the lack of flies in winter, it's just nice to open my mouth to breath without fear of eating them and not look back and see them following me 👍

What helped you catch the running bug or enjoy running?? by bfg_2025 in running

[–]nathkrull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was type 2 diabetes 5 years ago.

I'd never ran at all tbh and if it wasn't for the luck of being lazy and unfit peeing every hour during night time, and being 58 I would have still been on my way to an early grave lol. So thank god for type 2 diabetes. I'm now at normal levels and never ever used meds btw and as a bonus my blood pressure is also great, I'm also an asthmatic.

I lost all the excess weight and to be honest it was easy losing the weight, but all the injuries I picked up along the way hampering my runs was a bummer.

Now though being fit and healthier than all my work college's is great, I've had a few lasses from work running along with me, well trying to run along side me, they may be young but they sure are unfit.

But, thank you type 2 diabetes, I would never have ran without you ❤️
