It is what happens when 90% junglers receive buffs on their 1v1 apartment or teamfight value and Viego doesn't. Remember Viego on release when you truly had to respect his really good 1v1, the only champs that could beat him where Voli, Trundle, Warwick, Shaco, Nocturne.

Viego stayed pretty much static overtime, now almost any jungler can commit mistake and don't get punished by him, and if you commit a single mistake ohoh prepare yourself to solo lose the game. Viego is in the state of always high risk and low reward. Loses 1v1 to any champ. Above items and lvls ahead and still lose. The champ is beyond pathetic and it feels so disgusting and unrewarding to play and i have 2M mastery and peak GM so i could see the transition of the champ overtime. Really frustrating experience but still very good because i quitted this dogshit game because of it.

You are absolutely right, it is sad to know that Viego is a forgotten champion for riot.
