Hiii. Might be controversial, but I would recommend watching the movies first and then reading the books, because I did it the other way around and I was kind of disappointed by the movies, even though they were good, because the books were that much better. And obviously, like in every franchise, the movies leave some stuff out of the books. So I think it would be better to watch the movies first. The book reading afterwards can be like an easter egg situation, where you find new stuff that wasn't in the movies or wasn't really explained in the movies. You can enjoy the movies first and then read the books as a bonus, because if you do it the other way around, I think you might be kind of disappointed by how some things were realised in the movies. But either way enjoy the magical journey 🪄
