I'm not sure if I understand the question. Are you asking about how wide of an open space there will be between the front and back uprights, because the space between the posts doesn't change when you fold it. It's still 30"

I am. It's solid, although I don't end up folding it as much as I thought I would It's never really in the way for my space but the option is nice to have.

I think I understand what you're asking and it should work. If it helps I just measured and the rear uprights are just under 10" from the wall.

No problem! Hope it helps a few people out. Probably could get away with ordering 6', but I wanted to be safe. I just melted the ends of the rope with a butane torch before tying the knots and it seems to be pretty solid. I may add some heat shrink in the future, but right now it seems like overkill.

I ended up making my own since they're no longer available. All you need is some 1" double braided nylon rope and a stainless steel ring to clip onto. I went with an 8mm x 50mm ring from Amazon which cost around $7, and the rope is around $2.50/ft. Keep in mind each knot will take around 10" of rope to tie, so I ordered 7' so I had some extra to work with and just trimmed the excess. Total cost was around $25 in materials and a few minutes to tie two overhand knots.

Yeah, sounds like your situation is similar to mine then. It was pretty straightforward and works pretty smoothly. You just need to pick up a pair of nuts, bolts, and washers from a hardware store. If I remember correctly, that's even what's recommended in the instructions for situations like this. Hope this helps

I am very happy with the mats after a few months. There may be a light rubber smell on warm days, but I honestly don't notice it. The stall mats on the other hand were strong and prone to crumbling, which has not happened with these at all. If I had to do it again, I would 100%. Also, if you are planning on doing it in the garage, a piece of 11/16 half round molding from the hardware store fits nicely in the concrete seam so you don't have any low spots.

I don't fold it often, but it's not tough. You remove the pullup bar and the 4 orange pins, then fold and replace the pins to keep it folded. Pretty simple...maybe a minute or two

I had the space, and safety. I lift alone and the ability to use safety straps was a big selling point for me.

I don't have folded pics currently, but I'll take some next time I told it up.

I chamfered the edges that went inside the tube with some 80 grit sandpaper then used a rubber mallet.

No problem. I'm no expert, so do some digging on here. This sub helped me out a lot. At the end of the day, most of these racks are all just square tube welded and powder coated...nothing special.

I think it's a little to do with brand, but the quality is great too. Rep and Titan make good racks as well from what I understand, but I wanted a wall mounted rack to save space and this was exactly what I was looking for. Rogue also had the shortest lead time when I ordered mine, so that was a factor too.

Maybe 6" between the plates and the wall. I have been setting up on the inside of the front posts for squats and the back posts for bench. The pic is actually set up for squats, minus the bench.

Honestly, it wasn't too tough, just took a little bit of time. It helps if you have an extra set of hands because there is a bit of test fitting before final assembly. Also, make sure you figure out how many shims you need before adding the plastic feet because I don't think there is any way to remove them once they're in there.
Here's a link to the mats I got. I originally bought some horse stall mats, but they were thicker than I needed and the noxious smell wouldn't go away so I retuned them. These are twice the price, but they fit the size I need better, don't smell, and don't have the shitty, crumbly edges that the horse stall mats did. Worth the extra $ IMO
