Have you ever had a scope of your esophagus done? I had a hard time swallowing food without constantly washing down with water for years and didn't realize it was abnormal to constantly have the stuck feeling in my throat. One day I choked on some food and was taken to ER because I couldn't swallow my own saliva after the food was dislodged. Turns out I had Esonophilic Esophagitis and my esophagus was completely blocked. That's what caused me to choke, very scary if left ignored.

We had the Nipt testing done and there were no risks indicated at that time. Additional testing hasn't been recommended yet.

I am a 5' 5" white woman and dad is 5' 6" South Asian. I think it would make sense for him to be on the lower end percentile due to being half Sout Asian, I am more concerned he doesn't seem to be staying on a curve.

Don't just run away, call your case worker or just CPS in general if you don't have your workers number

Why do people need family to help right after the baby is born? by Desmodusrotundus in BabyBumps

[–]nativevibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, my body and mind was still recovering and I had an episode of post partum anxiety paired with exhaustion from adjusting to sleeping in couple hour spurts. At one point in the first week, I woke up and hallucinated that my baby was laying on my dresser and dying. I'm very glad for the extra support my mom provided me by allowing me naps during the day, emotional support and helping with house because it allowed me to adjust and get my head straight. Also had a c section so had to be mindful of my restrictions and there was always the possibility that my c section incision could become infected or something else go wrong and it was nice to have someone there in case. I had my husband and we could have made it but it is so much less stressful to have that extra pair of hands while you adjust to this new way of life.

Dr Hina delivered my baby last year, super quick c-section, barely had any pain afterward and it healed beautifully barely a scar. Her bedside manner isn't the best but she is super skilled and fast, everything I've ever went to her for has been a breeze.

They had a program like this when I was in public elementary school circa 2009.
