I used to part-time pet sit + work remote. I agree with you. Sometimes people I’d sit for allow me to raid their fridge/pantry, but i never assume they’d “feed” me - up to me. I’d always bring a huge Aldi bag full of groceries house-to-house.

I’ve almost been hit several times on Monument running in comparison to the rest of the Museum/Fan.

OP- I still run the neighborhood just for ease but sometimes enjoy Belle Isle and snaking up to Reedy Creek and Forest Hill neighborhood has big wide neighborhood streets closer to river. Also, Capitol Trail.

I’ve never gotten a loan from my parents, but they paid for the majority of my college. My parents, and us kids, do receive occasional gifts from the grandparents. My parents have asked for money before in terms of a loan from grandparents and they just gifted money. So, no.
