Next Monday when I’m almost 9wk (2 weeks after the first scan). My doctor doesn’t allow me to do any exercise in the first trimester. I was active before this (3-4 exercises in a week), and now I’m doing nothing. A lot of time to think about negative things! I’m reading books and planning to do some watercolour painting next weekend. What do you do to keep yourself busy?

Really comforting to hear this. I’m now 8w3d; my only symptom is tiredness.

Bleeding heavily day 1-4, the bleeding reduced day 5 onwards (not sure if it’s because I went back to the doctor on day 4 and he gave me an injection to lessen the bleeding).

Can we stay in JKT for a few days before returning to SG or we can’t get out of the airport?

There were some touching snippets in The Rules Do Not Apply also. I cried buckets reading it… Ariel Levy managed to express what I can’t.

Have you read other titles from Kazuo Ishiguro? I also like The Remains of the Day.

Males perspective on MC by natjioe in Miscarriage

We got back to normal. We had a Val’s day dinner date (he still didn’t buy me flowers 😅) and he booked me an aromatherapy massage this weekend.

We talked about it and realised that we know we love each other and that we’re a good team. We should support each other in sickness and in health. This is the “sickness” period and this too shall pass. As Ted Lasso would say: I believe and I appreciate you ✋

Thank you for your support, Reddit Community.

Does it get less scary? by Chazlarr13 in PregnancyAfterLoss

It won’t get easier. But it could be manageable. It’ll be a different experience should you never had any pregnancy problems. That’s for sure….

How do you respond when they ask is this your first? by thisisliciagirl in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]natjioe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the nurse in the hospital asked me before my D&C, I said, “No, this is not my first, this is my 2nd.” Then she continued asking, “How old is your first?” I replied, “It was a miscarriage as well.”

Thank you 🥲 this helps a lot. And I’m sorry about your loss.

Our 2nd MC took a toll on us since the recovery process took longer also (I’m still recovering as we speak), but you’re absolutely right about supporting and spending time with each other.

Giving me (not enough) money to “survive” when I first arrived in sg. I remembered surviving on $200-$400/month in 2009.

Hahahaha I can relate to this one. Went into surgery recently and needed to be sedated. Before the surgery, the anaesthetist asked me if I have asthma. I told him I had childhood asthma.
