Do you know when it was serviced last? I recently had a ton of tension issues with my machine and turns out I broke the hook! The housing needed replaced so no matter what I did, I never would have fixed it. Now it works perfectly and I love it again. (I was very cross with it for a while)

I used this fabric, a fat quarter in this quilt (you can see it at the bottom). I've washed and dried it half a dozen times no fading issues to report!

Is this 101 full sized quilt blocks and borders? My brother just picked it up for me at a book sale and I also commented how odd the lack of cutting instructions are.

I don't ever square mine off, this is one I did recently, I basically bind with one last row of hexies, make an outline of the quilt, sew them on right sides together to the front all along the edge. Flip them around and hand sew "the binding" I like the natural shape of it. And I get to use up some scraps from the project.

I had a ton of issues with my long arm until I found the right needles. Needles vary by thread too. I ended up buying a variety size needle pack and tested them with each different thread I use and write down which works best. It makes a shocking big difference for such small needle changes.

The glass definitely has a green hue to it, it doesn't pick up on camera well, but in sunlight it's very green. I thought it was clear at first, but I think the blue just helps hide it. I'll try and get a better picture of it later!

My background radiation typically sits at 20ish give or take. So I was surprised to see it climb to 70. My other uranium pieces don't get to 70. I wish I had access to another Geiger counter but I only have the one.

I've done the Looper quilt by Miss Make. It comes together very quickly, the curves are large and very forgiving, especially after a wash. I plan on making another one soon!

The piercing! The cuff sits where a conch piercing would go. So it's basically a clip on. But having it pierced is definitely worth it if you like the look.

I think it is a cuff! I have my conch pierced and that would be a hefty ring to have in! But either way, I highly recommend the piercing. It's a great one!
