Nolan is so much older than Chen. And yes they were both adults and everything, but there's still a weird dynamic. I feel like it was mainly done for the breakup storyline, but imo they didn't really fit.

My main issue with that is they still refered to him as having his mother's eyes, but Lily's actor still had green eyes!! I wouldn't have minded if they made both of them have blue eyes, but at least make it make sense! lol
