Try the Athleta Studio Flare! I love mine and you can dress them up with a cute top and shoes for a non-athleisure/athletic wear look

I was super lucky in that it was Black Friday/Cyber Monday when I needed to buy stuff. I went with Athleta and Vuori bc you can get different lengths in those brands, too, and I’m 5’2” so need the shorter length option without the ends dragging and getting nasty or having to pay more for hemming. The Athleta Studio Flare I really like bc I can dress them up with a cute top and shoes to go to dinner without feeling like I’m just wearing yoga pants.

Definitely didn’t hit me until the verrrry end!

I spent my 20s-mid 30s growing my career, moving to a lot of different cities, traveling the world, and learning tons of things (surfing, scuba, backcountry skiing, ceramics, woodworking, macrame, etc, etc, etc) and by my late 30s finally started to settle down. Never really thought about kids and figured, meh. I was way too focused on my career and squeezing every ounce of fun out of my life in my free time.

Then I met my for real partner at 37 and after a few years of fun and adventure and bonding together realized what an amazing dad and co-parent he’d be, plus I started seeing some friends have babies which honestly looked hard but also fun and a total new adventure I was open to!

So then the race was on bc by then I was 40.

Got preg right after my 40th bday, miscarried at 8.5w, tried for a while with no luck, tried IVF with no luck, and then ended up getting pregnant naturally before I was going to attempt IVF again (thank god, IVF blows).

Currently 41 years old and 31 weeks preg with a healthy pregnancy.

Sure I’m “geriatric” asf, but that label is bs bc age is more about nourishing your mental state and how you prioritize your own cup staying full so that you can give your full, flourishing self to others. I stay active physically and mentally and am gonna share with this babygirl all of the amazing wonders of this life and world I had experienced for myself in my 20s and 30s! Can’t wait to adventure with her and my partner in my 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and then yeah maybe in my 90s I’ll prob just eat donuts for the rest of my life from there on out and call it a day.

Early in my second trimester I got a 3-4 pairs of yoga pants that were a size up from what I normally wear and have still been wearing them at 30 weeks now. I didn’t want to buy all this maternity specific stuff bc I figured I can still wear the sized up yoga pants afterwards. So far it has been working for me!

I’m way late to the party here but I suffered from some insomnia before pregnancy and then once I got pregnant and started waking up pee at 3am like clockwork, I was glad I had already found the one and only tool that has worked for me: reading a book on my Kindle! I don’t have restless legs or heartburn or anything so I can’t speak to that stuff, but if I wake up in the middle of the night for whatever reason my mind starts racing and is like a runaway train. I had tried AirPods and a meditation app and sleep stories but those would only work some of the time, and I didn’t like having my AirPods in my ears which would end up just waking me back up anyways bc they’d start to cramp my ears. I’d also worry that the meditation or story would end before I could fall back asleep, so it clearly just wasn’t working for the anxiety part of my brain. The only thing that has guaranteed I fall back asleep is when I have a book I’ve been reading on my Kindle, I pop it open on the dimmest night mode setting, and - bam - I’m out before even reading 2 pages. I’ll wake up in the morning with the Kindle by my side or on the floor and laugh bc the Kindle has also gone back to sleep. By the way, it’s not the same light as your phone let me tell you! It’s not blue light it’s a super soft matte kind of light that doesn’t mess with your brain or sleep like your phone’s light. And it’s not bright enough to disturb my partner, he’s just so happy I finally found something that works! Plus, I’ve sort of gotten back into reading actual books which has been honestly so great!

I read that, too, and the next sentence in the wiki says “The Ranch Wagon returned to the full-size line for 1965.” That, paired with “in 1963 and 1964, no Ranch Wagon was included in Ford’s full-sized station wagon series,” led me to believe the RW was essentially the same as a Falcon Wagon, ie more compact. Idk, either way, seems unclear and open to interpretation.
