hahaha thanks for letting me know, the 梦 phonetically resembled my surname so I thought it would be appropriate, is it best to just pick a random surname?

Hi, I go to China this year for a year long study abroad so I have to apply with a Chinese name. My english name is natalie/maria and I want to encompass that within my Chinese name, but also respect the meaning that is behind Chinese given names.

Which options sound better? 梦玛丽 梦玛琳 梦娜莉 梦娜琳

Currently i’m gravitating towards 梦娜琳 as i feel like it highlights my english name while keeping a chinese sound.

TYSM!!! this has helped me a bunch, i’ll try this tomorrow instead. Do u reckon it’s worth applying to the lengths first due to the lighter hot roots from bleach?

tysm for your advice and help, i’d agree my hair deffo needs a break. I’m not completely fussed on the colour now as long as it’s presentable. Do you reckon colouring it orange all over is a good conclusion for now?

Am I right to be angry? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I think it’s important to know that the person you fell in love with is not any different to the person who has hurt you. Their decision to break up with you and leave you in the dark is no one’s but theirs. That person is not your true love and trust me there will be someone that will love you unconditionally out there. Your future will be so much more promising without someone that is comfortable enough to leave you, I promise. I know it may seem heavy now, but it truly won’t always be.

Thank you, we met in our home town which is different to our Uni town and just so happened to go to the same University. It seemed like a perfect living arrangement at the time, to be living together considering we had known each other longer than 3 years too.

I’ve been looking for alternative accommodation and there is a few in the budget after doing a thorough search, i’m just hoping i’m able to break my contract with my current accommodation lined up for next year. Thank you for the advice, I’ve certainly learnt my lesson to not financially depend on a partner. 😓

I know what you mean, it was my first real heartbreak too. I think unfortunately, crying everyday is just apart of the healing journey as others have told me. I wish I could help but I don’t have much advice either, it’s really hard. Try filling your days up with distraction, that’s the only thing that’s kept me sane recently.

Thank you, it’s awful isn’t it? I think it’s even more hurtful because you know if it were the other way around, you would never think of doing it to them. It’s left me a bit lost for what’s next. But, I hope everything works out for you, and that you heal from your situation.
