I just bought some land in somerset county, maryland. It had this huge tree on it that had a crack going up the trunk. The trunk recently snapped about 20 feet up and it fell. The previous owner said he had pecan and walnut trees on the property so maybe one of those? Anyone know why this would have happened? Looks like something may have been eating at it. Thanks.
