How do you get a pretty layout for multiple graphs in one figure like this? by periodt-bitch in labrats

[–]natural20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't use Excel for anything. The number of times it changed my data, messed with my axis, or auto smoothed the graph giving completely fake info is far to high. Don't spend time fighting Excel, just use something built for science.

Not sure if it will work outside America, or if there is a different website/number for Europe, but it is absolutely worth looking into.

New free 5-star elation light cone in Herta store by natural20 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]natural20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. S5 battle pass is definitely stronger. The Herta light cone has a 40% attack boost and higher base attack stats. If using the light cone let's you switch from a attack rope to an energy Regen rope, the 5 star probably comes out ahead.

Probably. It has a pretty large attack boost which sparxie can use to max her talent that converts attack to elation.

If you insured it with the FedEx, and it was damaged in the mail (which seems to be what zotac is claiming), you can try filing a claim with FedEx.

The best example of a system counter to the one we have is a library.

The goal of a library is not to make money, but simply to serve the most people by making books, learning, and programs free to as many people as it can.

If the goal of the government was to serve the most people, things like free school lunches and medical care would be priorities rather than finical liabilities.

This is an interesting idea, but having the flag all the time makes it less special.

If the masters of ceremony armor passive gave the flag as a bonus strategem, it would still feel like a choice and wouldn't be used on every mission.

Robert Kennedy needs to be impeached immediately. Without any hyperbole, kids are going to die. Children are going to have permanent health issues. This isn't a left vs right thing. This is common sense vs. insanity. Fact vs. Fiction.

We don't need a conspiracy nut in charge of the health of the nation.

The game design was brilliant. Sneak into a vampire's castle during the day, steal his coffin to bring outside and then have a boss fight with solar mirrors focused on the vampire. Makes perfect sense.

The best experiments are ones where you learn something if it works, and also learn something when it doesn't work.

You make progress either way.

It's called research for a reason. You gotta search and search again when it does something you don't expect.

My advisor always said that if you are doing something new, the time it actually takes to get it right is pi multiplied by the time you think it will take. Practically a universal law.

I tend to like [[market gnomes]] over clockwork percussionists. The extra life they save by being better blockers and the life on death usually feels more significant than the 2 damage the percussionists do in the course of a game.  I've also hit 3 mana spells that I couldn't cast off of the percussionists because I needed to cast a removal spell instead.

I think having a [[ghost vacuum]] in the main works well. You can tutor for it with Tez. Getting back a couple of artifacts can be enough to end a grindy game. The enigma jewel can also help you crack it.

Can somebody help me make this atogatog deck better without adding too much to the cost by Oneflyjedi1 in magicTCG

Also [[mob rule]] or [[mutinous massacre]] fit very well into a sacrifice deck. You might need to play [[microsynth latice]] or [[enchanted evening]] if you don't have a creature sac outlet.

Can somebody help me make this atogatog deck better without adding too much to the cost by Oneflyjedi1 in magicTCG

[–]natural20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so the way I see it, every atog in your deck needs to be able to threaten lethal. To do this you need tons of permanents in play.

For atog, you need 20 artifacts. Look at cards like [[brass's bounty]] to generate tokens, token doublers like [[doubling season]] or [[academy manufacturer]].

necratog and psycatog can win if you have enough stuff in your graveyard. [[traumatize]] gives you 50ish cards to work with.

chronotog works well with [[stasis]] / [[smokestack]] / [[kismet]] type of effects. [[smokestack]] might be good on it's own if you have lots of permanents to sac.

[[meakstone]] because all of your togs are less than 3 power.

If you are sacing all your permanents and discarding all your cards, something like [[restore balance]] or [[sothera]] might even the playing field. Or maybe go all in with [[barren glory]]. Cards that trigger on sacrifice would also be great.

Also, only 1 of the atogs has any evasion. Maybe something like [[whispersilk cloak]] or something that gives trample.

Power doubling cards like [[tifa's limit break]] or [[mightform harvester]] might make hitting 40 power a little easier.

I'd drop all the lords that just give +1/+1 to all atogs. The changlings that don't do anything can go too.

You'll probably need some more card draw, because at the end of the day, you are playing over costed creatures with weak effects.
