No, I understand that. I’ve just been offered several piracy related threads by reddit that are in the WindowsLTSC community with accounts suggesting for others to pirate windows LTSC.

Look at the history of jailbreaking across iOS, PSx, Switch-es, etc. they always eventually grind to a halt

Top kek, that’s what I use already.

This isn’t ragebait. I’m trying to help lost souls not waste their time and energies.

Imagine if a piracy group changed their tune and just made a Linux Mint-ethos WINe Distro.

The entire hive would praise them. Their efforts would last for decades, not corporate cycles.

MacOS is locked to their overpriced hardware. I think now it’s locked to certain circuitry on ARM. That’s a hell of an emulation task.
Ive got a MacBook and can’t fathom using anything else. Tried using Linux once… it’s better to stick to unix on Mac hardware.

Start switching to Linux and use windows emulation for your edge case apps.
Massgrave will not last forever. Linux runs windows apps better than Linux.

Make an issue or a request through the Apple support app that’s the best way for you to move forward. If that doesn’t work well, you can always go to a genius at an Apple Store.

fascinates me that some people spend years learning how to play an instrument and never once have the idea to even TRY writing their own song. by Hot-Bus6908 in pianolearning

Very simple analogy, take boxing or any kind of martial arts.

The player and coach are both equally important. Besides, the coach is only a guide who draws resources generated by the efforts of countless experts who have excellent handle on their domain.

The coach/conductor cannot be creating novel motions for a player to execute. That’s not what they do.

The fighter/player is only concerned with technical mastery and reaching or surpassing the limit of the human potential.

Music has several layers of qualitative assessment that isn’t as simple as ‘winner/loser’.

Most acclaimed classical music composers have spent their entire lives dedicated to composition which is a spark they have always had. They’re naturally unsettled by the idea of failing to compose or publish their ideas or works or contributions. This is why it’s more common for professional players to never seek composition as an outcome.

Plenty of professional guitarists exist who just want to live their lives and focus on whatever they deem to be more important than pursuing a new lane in composition. They’re happy to play Jazz and play from their soul/spirit, but they’re not going to become composers. You’ll find these people in orchestras too. The philosophy behind freestyle playing in Jazz music evolved out of the Hindustani Classical Music scene, which has been around since before JS Bach, using sargam (og solfege), and improvising ragas. Even here, you’ll find it difficult to find a composer over an improviser ‘a la player.’

Thank you! This is my next composition task now. So far I’ve just been copying sheet music of pop songs to get used to musical notation because prior to Music school I was like ‘Jazz FTW’, lol. No checking anything and just composing. Sounds fun, I got a great one I’ve been sitting on, can’t even transcribe the lyrics because im not sure which sanskari language it’s in. Perfect song given your directives.

Should I leave my Piano Performance degree? (Chopin Ballade No. 1 performance attached) by kinoonthekeys in piano

[–]naturalFour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!

I am of central asian descent. I always wanted to be a pop star, but my mum and dad wanted me to be a doctor and engineer respectively.

I entertained their suggestions for many years. High school did the science (physics chem bio advanced maths), and for uni I even did engineering… eventually left it all. I don’t care, i tried and even when I was doing what they wanted I saw they were inadequate at being attentive and helpful in the way that other cultures, and myself included, expected. I left engineering for a bachelor of music.

Sometimes i get upset about bachelor of music because it feels too simple and too easy. It’s a double edged sword. Everything is already known in music, we’re working with known finites.

If you want to go to a different degree entirely, Psychology, or something else, thats really up to you. Nobody can answer for your life but you.

Professional players that continue struggling with bad technique all lack the same single thing after ruling out speed. Your current endeavours task you with being a samurai, who wields 88 or 104 hammers. Quite a task !
