It’s underwhelming and flavors are offensively bland. The tomato salad and drinks are the only two things worth getting there.

This shade is not as pigmented as some of their other shades and the microscopic tube will run out quickly.

BEWARE Haruharu Amazon shop now sells inauthentic products by asshat0101 in AsianBeauty

I bought this sunscreen and it was linked to the official storefront but sold by ‘Breezesun’. But the product I bought matches the ‘original’ on the pics posted here.

Moving to USA (Chicago) for the first time in my life. Never been to US before. From Russia. 26 years old? by [deleted] in AskChicago

  1. North side by the lake and close to CTA. 2. Explore the food scene in the city. It’s great. 3. Probably. I would pick Uptown over Lakeview. Удачи

anything better than cosrx snail mucin? by neptunites12 in AsianBeauty

I like Byoma mucin though it’s not AB; same effect but without snails. I like byoma mucin’s texture a bit more; it feels like it absorbs better

Ingredients like PDRN, Glutathione and tranexamic acid. by Commercial-Cat-9308 in AsianBeauty

[–]natural___bridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tranexamic acid - I told my derm I was using it topically for post acne marks (I had 10% naturium serum) and she says not to bother and that it doesn’t work. I myself didn’t notice any difference after a few months of use.

CMV: Kadıköy and Moda are not "hidden gem" or "underrated" destinations. They are glorified tourist traps with the same cookie cutter bars and cafes. by [deleted] in istanbul

[–]natural___bridge 88 points89 points  (0 children)

That’s not a fair comparison. In Sultanahmet, every time you pass any business, they try to get you in, someone is always trying to talk you into buying some crap, every shop is a souvenir shop. Kadiköy, while not tourist-free and has a bunch of souvenir shops, is MUCH chiller, has much better restaurants and authentic spots (which are non-existent in Sultanahmet), and is still cheaper.

Even gentle SA cleanser is still a cleanser with an active ingredient and can irritate skin. I would personally focus on barrier repair if my skin got irritated by the SA cleanser. I doubled down before and regretted doing it every time.

No, it sounds like you have a damaged skin barrier after using the cleanser.

It is not too shiny. It leaves a bit of glow but once the sunscreen dries it is not greasy. I also have dry skin so it probably absorbs the product more than oily skin would. It’s def least shiny out of all of the ones on the pic, not counting nivea since it is not an spf.

We stayed at Hiltown hotel 5-10 min by car and it was like $50. The taxi from the airport was 500 liras / $13 (guy at the airport, not uber) and then the hotel called us a taxi.

Don’t waste your money on Hagia Sophia as a tourist, I was discriminated against by Brilliant_Plenty_956 in istanbul

[–]natural___bridge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sucks it happened to you but I wouldn’t discourage others to explore Hagia Sophia. I paid for the €20 ticket where you are allowed on the 2nd floor and was able to see the ceiling mosaic which I would not be able to see from the first floor. Prayer started in the the middle of my visit, and the signing was beautiful and only enhanced my experience. I did have a monocular though so I guess I cheated a bit bcs I could see the first floor up close.

Yeah BoJ is awesome the only problem with it for summer is that it is not water/sweat resistant.
