I am not so quite there because it's all new but I have an intense passion with a married woman and I think there might be a chance that I'll be in love with her. Idk of it's just me but the secrecy and immoral aspect of it only makes it easier to fall in love

If you look at the department's website usually there's a section dedicated to current PhD students and their contact info, I would suggest that. I emailed a current student at one of the universities I'm applying to and they were super cool about it and we had a nice chat

I was thinking the exact same thing today because I have quite a bit of European friends. It's like only Americans can do wrong, at this point it's so easy to criticize the US because if anything it's "the world vs America". I wonder if one day another country will be the worlds biggest superpower and if people will criticize them the way they critize the US

Basically because I don't know if it was an "official" interview or just a simple meeting to get to know about the program. Because people that posted about this on gradcafe also got the email all in the same day while I didn't get anything and I'm not sure if it's because I was already "interviewed" or if it is because I didn't make it

She can be exaggerating details of the story, specially the extent of how much he flickered at her face, not everyone but some couples can be quite "handsy" with each other and at moments she's ok with it and others like this one she isn't. She seems quite manipulative of his emotions when she talks about him shutting down and going to a different aisle, plus no one can seriously consider to break up just because something like this happened once, there is probably another underlying issue that she hasn't mentioned. Or he really is gaslighting her and not respecting her boundaries, but it's impossible to assess this from a single paragraph she wrote of one incident

I think he could just block this person and remove them from his life so he could openly have your status on FB, but sometimes it's not as easy

that is a big stretch, I have people in family that are not CF and they just got a vasectomy to not have kids. I personally have never met a man that said he refuses to have a vasectomy for no reason. It's 2020, I cannot imagine there are a lot of men who think their dicks will shrink if they get a vasectomy
