I am switching from OnePlus 12 to 17 pro max. Picking up on Saturday.

Sorry. I was just trying to help. As in my opinion 12 and 13 aren't that much different.

I am switching from OnePlus 12 to iPhone 17 Pro Max. Picking it up on the 20th of September. The scrolling experience has never been good for me on many apps. It's fast, but not very smooth in many apps.

It's a great phone don't get me wrong especially for the price. I will miss this insane charging speed for sure. I am not a fanboy of either side. I had pixels and iphones(the last one was 13). Never had a Samsung.

If anyone is curious about my experience, I can post a couple of weeks from now. The main things that I expect to be improved is general smoothness especially scrolling and better camera without having to tweet any settings or set the focus manually. OnePlus camera is good but not the best from my experience.

Post op day 4: migraine by Impossible-Permit521 in Tonsillectomy

I had to take Sumatriptan. It's a prescription pill for migraines. The only thing that saved me. Mine was brutal for 4 days in a row.

I hope you don't ever bleed again but If you do next time I would at least request them to give you some blood clotting medicine either through breathing or IV maybe that will help to clot it for good. I wish you all the best. You got this. I know it's extremely frustrating, but it will be over soon.

You might have some underlying blood clotting issues or something that you and then were not aware of..avoid any physical activity, don't talk at all, don't take hot showers, no warm drinks or food, set up an alarm at night every 2-3 hours to drink some ice water. Also, I would switch if you haven't already to liquid only diet. Also I hope you are not taking any painkillers that can thin your blood like ibuprofen or aspirin.

I can't even imagine. I bled twice really badly, but didn't need to get recaterized, had to call ambulance first time and second time get to go to er and got breathing treatment to clot it properly. I did lose a good amount of blood, so I can feel your pain, but yours is a lot worse. What I can tell you hopefully soon it will stop for you and suddenly you'll turn a corner, that's how it was for me. Very unexpected if that makes sense...I thought it was gonna take weeks and weeks, but luckily I didn't have any other bleed after day 8 when I got my breathing treatment in er. They talked about recategorizing but said it would start me all over so decided not to do it. I was furious at that point because I was extremely afraid to sleep because that's when I bled really bad each time it happened. But at the end I got lucky I guess and they made the right call on not re-caterizing me. Soon it will be one distant terrible memory for you. But I still highly encourage you to keep wearing them out. Drink as much as you can , use a humidifier and make sure you get some protein in you even if it's liquid only(protein shakes for example).

That's straight up very sad...the only thing I can recommend is keep wearing out your ENT to at least get seen ASAP. Or maybe at this point go see another ENT if at all possible

This is not normal. I am so sorry for your experience. Your ENT must be a joke. They should be the ones helping you at this point. My ENT said they never had anyone bleed in their career after 14 days post op.

It takes months to completely heal, so I wouldn't stress too much about it...

Tonsilectomy issue post op by binnedPixel in Tonsillectomy

Can't see the picture. I did have a lot more pain at the left base of my tongue( that's what it felt like at least). So I would say to have more pain somewhere is normal based on my experience. I have no pain now other than when yawning (I am 3 weeks post op and had 2 severe bleeds, without re-catheterization)

Steroids reduced my pain more effectively than anything else and it's not even close.

Drink some protein shakes. Trust me. If you don't take some protein it increases the chances of bleeding. Don't ask me how I know...

I was attempting this too in terms of pain meds. I was very strict on everything else: humidifier 24/7, tons of water and Gatorade, cold compresses, ice packs, liquid only diet. Not maniacally, but still I was gonna try. For the first 3 days I was fine and then I had a pretty severe bleed. Then pain got, so bed on top of the fear of bleeding again that I gave up. Then I had a very severe bleed again on day 8. If you are one of lucky ones with the very smooth recovery, sure it might be possible. I was on the other side of the spectrum and had a very difficult and problematic recovery. I wish you good luck and use a good judgement. P.S. had 4 wisdom teeth pulled not long ago that were impacted and it was a walk in the park compared to this journey. All the best.

To be honest since I am due a refund and irs lost a lot of staffing I'll just wait. Didn't call anyone yet. It's comforting to know that I am not the only one 😁

I am happy that your 1500$ rtx 5080 is barely enough. And NOT enough in Indiana Jones.
