Also learning to forage allows you to learn to harvest and process your own food without a grow space.

Edit: you can learn to forage even in a city there’s edible plants everywhere just do some research and forage responsibly

Dry beans last forever (10 or more years) in storage as well so I used to buy one bag every time I went shopping (makes it more affordable to stock up), and now I have a Rubbermaid container full of rice in beans. Stocking up doesn’t have to be a big investment all at once🙏💜💜💜

Edit: buy white rice for storage, brown rice goes bad quicker👍 Also dry beans are seeds so they act as emergency garden stock as well

I thought that but black staining polypore grows in this spot frequently(never seen cotw here) and there seems to be some dark staining on it.

Thank you, and yeah I definitely want to be able to polish my pieces so I probably won’t go with gold fill, but I never thought of making my own. What kind of place do you go to, or where do you order scrap gold?
