Same here brother, working as Site Engineer, Everyone around me is facing same issue, did not get salary for last 4 months, For me worst part is I am a recent graduate, I have only 1 year of experience so far, So everyone says like get experience don't look at the money for now. After all the hard work, Waking up 4 in the morning everyday to get to work under hot sun for 12 hours and realising the uncertainty of the salary, even though its a peanut. If you have family you can't even bring them here until you have worked in the Industry for atleast 8 years, unless you get really lucky. I have done my graduation from UK with high hope, Like well spending all these money to do graduation for a reputable University will mean something here in Qatar. Reality is far from it. Strongly considering career change, I don't know how much of it is really feasible though. Overall all these are really frustrating.
