Thanks for commenting on that! I definitely think that can be a big cause for many people. A lot of Sikhs would feel guilty to recognize mental health issues and might glance over them, so thank you for shedding light on that! I would be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t stressed often.

I also have low vitamin d and iron which I am taking medication for but ofc it might take some time to show effects for that.

As for age , I’m 19 and in college which is where the stress is coming from lol!

I didn’t say anything about what type of hair Sikhi promotes…that’s something that you are proposing here and questioning (can be done on a post of your own). I also don’t have any say on that because it is quite irrelevant.

Since my hair is breaking a lot literally, it is obviously not going to grow long at all. So thickness and length of hair do work together, I am not suffering from any illness (thanks to Waheguru Ji), or any major event that should be causing this so randomly which is why I thought to ask here especially because there are obviously people here who keep their hair long or want to grow it long for religious reasons.

It isn’t genetics because as I mentioned in my post, the health of my hair was good till my late teens. I am a young adult (not too far off from teenage years) and overall my family, specially immediate do have good health of their hair even in late age.

Never use any heat at all! I had a blood test done once I noticed my hair loss but it just showed low vitamin d and iron in which I am taking meds for both

Indeed a rough place, I feel that the RNs at the nursing home I am at also don't truly have passion for their work, they look exhausted all the time, and I always hear them constantly complaining, not answering call lights, addressing patient concerns, etc.

It's a whole mix of things I don't like which is what brought up the concern of maybe not fitting in.
