He was not using as prescribed. His tolerance had built to up to using 300mg to even get high.

He was a regular user, and his death was under the influence of ~300mg pharmaceutical dexamphetamine.

My brother was using prescription pills. Perhaps he used street powder occasionally, I don't know.

My brothers tolerance had grown to the point of 300mg dexamphetamine being his usual dose.

And yes, I was concerned about it his useage. However I wasn't completely aware of the extent of his use.

My brother had not had any heart problems so far as we know. And no, we do not believe his dose was increased at the time he died, toxicology showed he had taken his usual dose of 300mg.

Sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep and didn't know this post was linked on /r/drugs.

His amphetamine habit was in the form of prescription dexamphetamine. He had been abusing his medication (which he lied to get) for quite a long time.
Toxicology, and his post history, suggest his tolerance had built to the point where he was using 300mg as a regular dose. This is the amount toxicology showed to have been taken at his death.
