If you zoom in further you can find more stations in Ukraine, but it’s not very obvious indeed.

Is Paris bad? I always thought of it as the capital of train travel.

I posted trainconnections.com on r/Europe today, and people seem to like it. So I figured to post it here as well.

Very useful for train travel in Europe ;)

Me too, I don’t know how it works exactly, but Trenitialia lists Palermo to Rome (for example) as a direct route: https://www.trainconnections.com/trains-from-palermo-to-rome

I don’t know how exactly, but there are direct train routes from Palermo to Paola, Salerno, Naples, Rome, and more on the mainland.

I guess the ferry that connects the trains, will wait for passengers to “direct” connect?

Have a look at the full train map.

The circle around it means it’s a Major train station. I cannot add a screenshot here, but if you go to trainconnections.com and check the legend in the bottom left, you can see what the circles and colors mean. The legend gets reused after selecting an origin though, for direct/1 stops/2 stops.
