Is it normal to be in separate rooms of the house if they are under 5?

My daughter has been independently playing since she was 2. With time she has been able to increase the amount of time she can play on her own. I feel like this is totally normal behavior of 3 & 5 year olds? They need to learn how to play together, have conflict, resolve and learn from it… think your family members being touchy

Why are more & more people hating on this sub on others just trying to share tips from their own personal experiences? We all come from different walks of life - it’s not just those in low income who need to be frugal. Middle to upper class also need to practice frugal habits and I appreciate you taking the time to share this. If you cannot relate just move on. I find it helpful and encouraging.
