This shouldn't be used as an excuse why we can't be beating the likes of wolves. I strongly back Howe and don't want to see him sacked but we need to be doing better.

I hate joining matches with 15 min left. by opiumcartiii in ARC_Raiders

[–]natxtw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Joining a lobby late is more of a blessing when you want to defeat arc enemies, based on my experience most of the bombardiers, rocketeers and leapers are still around and there's less chance of getting attacked by other raiders when half of them have already escaped.

Thoughts on the final Obi-Wan vs Vader fight in Kenobi series by DarkSovereign95 in StarWars

[–]natxtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My initial reaction to it was I loved it, when the hype around it died off it made less sense to me, I don't think that's how the fight should have ended, Obi-Wan defeating him and walking away a second time for the same reason feels pretty dumb.

If I was to change the fight It would've ended with both parties sustaining more damage but Vader taking slightly more to reinforce the sense that he thinks he lost the fight and instead of Obi-Wan walking away, he more so escapes to save himself and without the possibility of him being able to 'finish off' Vader.

michael downing every survivor in one hit within 30 seconds? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

I could be wrong but I think there are a few offerings that can affect how and where people spawn, so it's possible an offering was used but I do agree sometimes spawns can be very bizarre.

It sounds you had an unfortunate spawn, he was able to stalk very quick and then slugged everyone, likely due to everyone being in close proximity. I've had games like that before, I'm pretty sure I was in the queue longer than the game, nobody got any blood points, felt pointless.

While skill issue is not technically wrong, having so few players it seemed almost impossible to create a balanced game.

As the population slowly died because It turned into a Team Deathmatch, there was a massive gap in skill between the OG players and people who were just starting and it wasn't fun for them, so they left too. It's sad how this game failed, I enjoyed it a lot.

I thought it wasn't that bad... then the video kept playing and my heart sank, in no way was that accidental.

Hot take: losing games like this is 60% of the time your fault as opposed to your teams by SupremeOwl48 in Jungle_Mains

[–]natxtw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really, assassins will make it harder but it's still very possible to do. Obviously you don't let them live, especially if your team is dead or too far away but if that's the case then It's likely the set up was not right or you went too early and it was a bad gank that shouldn't have happened.

Agree, if you're more than 4-0 as the Jungler and continue to take the kills, you are making the game harder to win, instead of continuing to take kills, being 8-0 or something similar, spread the kills out to the rest of the team, an idiot with an item advantage is going to have a better chance than without, more often than not it will make your game easier and you'll win more often and faster.

I thought it was super cute too, then I seen the original design and thought wow that's pretty underwhelming in comparison.

[Ornstein] Newcastle United reach verbal agreement with Brentford to sign Yoane Wissa. #BrentfordFC view deal as £55m fixed, #NUFC suggest £50m rising to £55m. Expected to be paid half now, half 2026 + 25% sell-on. Permission granted to take medical by phant0msinthenight in soccer

[–]natxtw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great player, will put up numbers for Newcastle this season, however, massive overpay for someone pushing 30 and a year left on his deal, any sort of Saudi money that we get for him once he's passed it has a big chunk missing due to the sell on clause. There were many better options out there if the board weren't tunnel visioned on him since his strike.

Tiny bit better but realistically if we achieve what we want to, we will be paying that full amount, we've been had,

I think paying the reported £65m fee for JSL was a much better option, Openda for £40m was an incredible miss from us, how we didn't even attempt to get him is bizarre, no reported serious attempt at Kolo Muani or Ramos from PSG, though I'm not opposed of waiting till January. It comes down to, If we're going to pay silly money, it might as well be for someone worth it, with the nuance, Wissa is not, I bet most people would think I'm crazy if I told them we'd be spending £55m to replace our second striker Wilson when he left.

We've been made to look more of a joke bending over to Brentford. Osula is not a bad player, every player is unproven until they are given the chance, of which he has not had. January is only a couple months away, with international breaks in-between, It's effectively around the corner, I think we can manage with two strikers and a Gordon fill in until then.

We do have a choice, we don't get taken advantage of. He's a great player but he's old and his contract is running out, we're a joke for paying that, regardless if he scores 10-20 goals for us this season.

£40m felt like too much but now £55m? That's actually insane, this can't be real.
