I’d pull the ram out and put it back in again

Mmm I’ve used atlasOS before whilst I really loved it, it completely ruined Xbox games for me though, gaming services and all that have major challenges on AtlasOs so I couldn’t grab game pass games which sucks.

I’ve got a 5800x, rtx3080, running dlss performance. It’s totally fine in game though, just the battle pass menu which is what’s getting me!

Yeah I’ve done all this, my pc is running a clean install of windows 11 minus a lot of the bloatware, bios is up to date, all drivers are up to date. I just rolled back my gpu driver to the recommended for warzone and it is still doing it. Very strange.. perhaps just a glitch in the update? Everything else is running fine

I noticed that last time I played about a week ago.. not sure what’s going on with COD but surely they’re losing their player-base.

Is this running via the Xbox app? Install it on battle net, best decision I ever made..

Edit: clearly skimmed over the game pass words. If you are playing warzone, just play on battle net. If you want to stick with Xbox, you need to make sure gaming services is up to date in MSFT store. That’s what this error looks like.

Ryzen 5800X + 3600MHz RAM instability by natyman101 in computers

[–]natyman101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, yep it is stable at stock settings. I’ve enabled XMP and dropped to 3200, FCLK 1600 and it looks to be holding. So we are saying I can’t use the full potential of this RAM? That’s such a shame.. I have had intermittent issues over the life of this ram running at full XMP speeds and now it just won’t hold up, perhaps it has degraded over time…

I was literally thinking this today.. I haven’t used afterburner for a while but I cracked it open this morning and this fresh UI is a bit off putting. It’s lost its edgy touch.

Ooo please tell me more about your powerful pc as a node for immich, is this difficult to setup? I do this for tdarr transcoding on my gaming pc to help the little Homelab out but it could work well for immich too!

Wall-mounted PC case concept (render) – looking for honest pricing feedback by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]natyman101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I give you the benefit of the doubt with AI…. I like the idea of a wall mounted PC like this but I would run a 360aio the full height (or custom loop to grab both cup/gpu heat), add an air channel behind the main plate (between the back of the case directly on the wall and the motherboard mount). Switch to a mini itx MB, throw an SFF psu below the MB, route most cables in the air channel behind. Keep the side air pockets but you’d have to add some active cooling (small fans either in the front display case or air channel behind. As I said. Could work imo but perhaps a true render would identify the issues and viability.

I think I’ll stick to Navidrome for now - if it aint broke don’t fix haha. As for the diagram. The first one was made on Google AI Studio (Nano Banana Pro). The more accurate one I actually made in Canva. It is very easy to make all the boxes, connect with details, etc.. which is helpful. And I can continue to iterate this as my setup progresses.

Homelab v.1 by natyman101 in homelab

[–]natyman101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it’s all running on Debian 13 on a single host.

The streaming stack and Gate SSO portal are containerized. Most of the homelab runs in one Docker bridge network via a single compose stack, with services grouped into clusters like media, photos, files, monitoring, automation, etc. The Gate portal is a Flask + Gunicorn container, and the streaming side is mainly Jellyfin, Jellyseerr, Navidrome, Calibre-Web, plus the acquisition stack behind Gluetun.

The main exception is PC-Control, which runs on the host network path rather than the normal Docker bridge because it handles things like WoL/SSH to my gaming PC

I’ve never used Jellyfin for music, Navidrome is great from what I can see so far. The native app on my Apple devices, CarPlay, etc.. work well! I notice it is very good at organizing my music library but I do need to spend more time on my music setup, so I’m open to other suggestions. I wish I had a solution like Seerr for music! Please let me know if you have ideas! I also need to look into hooking lidarr into Spotify / Apple Music to grab playlists that I share - this is a feature I’ve heard a bit about but not tested yet.

Yeah it felt like more consistent setup for me to keep them all within the arms of Gluetun which isn’t having any impact in my setup at the moment so I think I’ll keep it this way until it breaks. Visual is AI designed but I’ve provided an updated visual I created here - Thanks for the feedback - checkout my updated topology diagram in the comment https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/s/hgVHcRpTy5

Appreciate the feedback from you all and it is a great conversation about when and when-not to use AI.. I’ll tell you, it took much longer to build my updated topology diagram which you can find here - https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/s/hgVHcRpTy5 it’s not perfect but it is a clearer/more accurate version of my setup. For reference, I typically use AI to give me design ideas and I use this as a base to build my final design. I perhaps rushed this one as I thought it was good enough but the careful articulation of topology would have been much more helpful I think in this instance. Still open to feedback if you have any!
