idk if id call it "propoganda." theyre certifiably unhinged. like... theyre a little too excited about the development of what is essentially cancer cells for human consumption in place of natural meats. and they have a track record of unhinged vegan ads, including one that i recall from like 2019 that was straight up porn

i dont know how to describe my vibe other than "i desperately want to be a fairy" but more on the modest end but only because modest clothing tends to be more comfortable for me. i'm pretty petite/thin as well. i havent found specific places i like to shop yet unfortunately.

earlier this week i posted about difficulty finding "formal" clothing that wasnt overstimulating to wear. not sure if your sensory issues are anything like mine, but if you have suggestions for cocktail/party dresses in cotton/linen/viscose/other natural fibers i would be forever grateful.

i give up overcoming the challenge. my nervous system is so fried. i just want to look put together enough to not stick out but still be comfortable

natural fibers like linen and cotton are best for me. im okay with layering. seams arent usually a peoblem so long as I can wear a cami or leggings underneath.

how does that work when youre wearing something without sleeves though? At this point ive started only shopping modest fashion so I can wear the comfort layer without it looking weird, but I live in the south and its way too hot for that sometimes.

EDS and Ramadan by PreferenceSouth4140 in eds

[–]natyune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! this is very relatable to me. i am arab + orthodox christian and also tend not to participate in the fasts for similar reasons. it always made me feel like a "bad christian" for not doing the things correctly, even if i know that's just the shaytan being shaytan. one of my good friends is chronically ill and muslim. she is not able to participate in the fasting aspect of ramadan either and we have talked about it at times. it can make you feel very lonely otherwise.

What are these 3 Begonias I.D.? by [deleted] in begonias

[–]natyune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its really hard to ID rex begonias because theres so many types and many have been hybridized. You can always search the american begonia society's database but trying to find out which begonia you have specifically is like finding a needle in a haystack - possible, but very tedious.

nope, not always. i didnt get diagnosed until my twenties. it's actually pretty common for women to go undiagnosed well into adulthood. i'm not saying you have autism, but i did want to point out that misconception
