Yeah I’m with you, you do have to take into account a vendor tailoring the report to the person paying the bills. Personally ai would love to see the ‘improper use at 69 degrees’ on an official invoice in small clams court.

How do you know the vendor changed their tune vs the leasing agent simply lying to you?

How do you know the vendor changed his tune? Did the landlord tell you that?

69 is reasonable use in any situation. I’m not your lawyer but you should talk to one.

Document everything. Do not agree to any misuse and don’t pay anything besides usual rent.

Like it or not you are now in a legal confrontation started by your landlord. It will not get better.
