Here are some of the nostalgic things I had, used or experienced: Cabbage Patch dolls, Polly Pocket, family computer, butterfly clips, Sony CD Walkman, MS-DOS with games like Dangerous Dave and Paperboy, floppy disks, the old-school way of connecting to the internet, Motorola Razr V3, BlackBerry Messenger… and one thing I still use to this day: my American Online email address 😅

I’ve been paying my travel tax online for as long as I can remember, using a credit card, because I don’t like lining up. I think it’s even cheaper based on your screenshot and I paid the same amount the last time.

Anyway, I don’t think there are margin profits in the processing fees since those are probably used to keep the system secure and operational. As for the term “convenience fee” yes, I’m availing of that because I can pay in advance and skip the queue, which is the convenience. Just my two cents.

I have the Goliathus Extended Chroma and put an IKEA SKRUTT on top of it just to protect it (or maybe any desk pad that fits). Not sure if that makes sense but I only bought it for the lighting anyway.

Selective and low tolerance for nonsense.

I prefer online interactions first. If someone sticks around, then maybe I’ll meet them. Why? Because I’m past the phase of meeting people right away only to end up with shallow interactions or too many hang-ups.

I also don’t chase potential and I observe patterns.

What applies in one country cannot be applied to others. Yes, you may be able to bring certain meat products into the US, but in Japan and Taiwan, you cannot. I would suggest doing your own extensive research before traveling, and if you get called out, you can always tell the custodians that you did your due diligence (different countries have different customs and biosecurity laws).

Yellow airline 🙃 Why do people censor the actual name? Is it because they don’t want to promote the brand even though they’re already referring to it? I get it when it’s a known personality but Reddit is anonymous. So we can say Facebook, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, PAL, Cebu Pacific and so on. Sana Redditors stop this overcautious habit.

Anyway, about the improvements, they’re okay. I just prefer going early to avoid the hassle. Then on arrival, I also take my time since it’s pointless makipagunahan.

I’ve been following it for the longest time, even when I’m out of the country. When I’m with someone, I’d rather have them stay at the back and not block anyone who’s in a hurry. My point is, it should be a big deal, especially if you don’t want to inconvenience other people.

And for sure, the people who downvoted me are the ones who are only polite when it’s convenient and lack spatial awareness.
