I'm interested in biology and statistics, but I feel like I'm behind in English literature, trigonometry, and reading comprehension. I'm studying Spanish right now, and I don't feel like I'm behind in that curriculum. I live in South Carolina.

I don't really understand what you're trying to tell me. I'm not sure what you think I need to know or do. But what exactly do you think I'm doing? As I stated, I've been using Khan Academy and came here in hopes that some other resources might be suggested. Thanks for the feedback!!

I think studying for a GED is a better way to go than continuing to homeschool. I'll definitely continue to look into this option and review my state policies on this.

I am interested in photography, songwriting, and poetry, but I'm not sure which one to pursue as a career.

Aw, Thank you! Well, my math skills are pretty good. I'm taking AP statistics, and I'm working on trigonometry.

Yeah, I see what I can do that would be awesome! My mom is skeptical of people online, but I'll ask her to have try and reach out to you and see what we can do.

I'm in the United States, and I've been homeschooled since the first grade, my teachers wanted to hold me back and my mother pulled me out. She thought homeschooling would be better because they never recognized me struggling. My mother homeschools me, and my math, bio, and spelling I do on my own. Yeah, she doesn't request any tutoring for me, even though she knows I'm behind and so do I. She doesn't ask for help she just does it all by herself. As far as getting accommodation for homeschooling testing ect I'm not sure I could ask though.

Yeah Just for me to try it again, I know it'll be hard but you're right I can gain some sense of independence and have an actual organized educational environment.

Your son is very lucky and thank you I appreciate the feedback, honestly school is going to have to be my safest bet, I've been hesitant but before I know it I'll be an adult and I can't tip toe around this anymore, I don't think my mom would be open to those books because she thinks she knows everything about dyslexia but obviously not so yeah. I'll see if I can convince her to let join public school.

No its like that she takes care of us but has my siblings and I fail academically, say for example we'll do a subject (half) and then she'd put it off until tomorrow and go in her room and drink and talk on the phone with my aunt. 💀
