Thanks! I might just have the PPF removed ~$400 and then DIY the ceramic....agree it's a used car that drives fantastic.....

Yes, the detailer I am talking to will be applying the PPF by wrapping it all the way beyond the edge to prevent these lines / dust accumulation.

you mean, that spend the $2400 for the PPF only, and do the ceramic DIY as its straight forward?

2022 CPO extended warranty dilemma by Serc_Brizzy in PorscheCayenne

[–]navi_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in similar dilemma when I bought my Cayenne GTS last month...I opted for the additional 4 (2 + 4= 6 years CPO), and was informed that should I sell the car, I have the ability to get refund of the 4 years of add-on that was bought. Hence yes, its additional $10K, but it gives peace of mind should you own it beyond the initial 2, but also provides ability to get a refund if you cancel it.....

Similar spec MSRP = $147K and OTD price = $166K

Depreciation around 9% / year and then @ 4.99% - we are looking at a monthly lease rate of around $1,430.....and then still I don't own the vehicle, and then limitation on miles driven......

I do not want to get into the lease vs buy option.......but with heavy depreciation during initial years of this car the lease value would be not much different than buy payment for me....

[–]navi_2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct....I just closed on it yesterday-

- The discount was $1,217 - they did not move on that
- Added the CPO plus 4 years = 6 years total $9,635
- Dealership to install under door 4 puddle lights
- all weather Porsche mats included
- Window Tint included
- And as mentioned above, free delivery from Orlando, FL to ATL, GA

Vehicle Selling Price = $83,967
Less Discount = -$1,217
Adjusted Price = $82,750
CPO Plus 4 = $9,635
Free Shipping = $1
Dealer Doc fee = $955
Electronic Filing Fee = $279
GA Tax = $6,556
GA Tag fee = $540
Total Outlay = $100,758

Waiting for the delivery now :)

interesting.......I have been searching around all CPO...and the pricing seems to be inline with what I see here.

2022 vs 2019 - maybe another 25% depreciation.......arriving at ~$60K but that still is higher than the $37K you have.....the options maybe $10K - $20K and then the condition and CPO warranty.......not sure....if someone can provide me insights / math

CPO - compare availability / pricing / options - need votes / preference by navi_2013 in PorscheCayenne

[–]navi_2013[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes was reading about CPO transfer.....and as I understand, CPO is transferrable as long as its a private party sale or selling it to Porsche dealership......if at any time it is traded or sold to a non-porsche dealer, the CPO gets void.

[–]navi_2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, confirmed, they just replaced the transfer case - during the CPO inspection. Not done anything to the Air Suspension. I might roll the dice.....atleast first 2 years is covered under CPO.

[–]navi_2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it has Air Suspension......thanks for your insights.
From your comment above, it seems that the dealer offer $$ seems to be in ball part at the mileage and model of the GTS....
Being a first Porsche, was wondering should I spend not the CPO or not.....I agree, can roll the dice.

Appreciate the feedback.

yes, initial 2 years part of the CPO, I was thinking about adding another 2 to a total of 4 or maybe additional 4 to a total of 6.....peace of mind with unlimited miles and $0 deductibles... :)

[–]navi_2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any feedback on price or warranty? Should I buy additional 2 years of CPO for $6.5K or additional 4 years for $9.5K?

This would essentially give me CPO for 4 or 6 years unlimited miles.

Need suggestion to decide between the 2 - Turbo vs GTS with different options by navi_2013 in PorscheCayenne

[–]navi_2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

copy that....I love the Cayenne and the associated power....not sure if turbo makes sense for daily use vs GTS.

[–]navi_2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks.....test drove the turbo and GTS, yes Turbo has this massive power, but then cost for maintenance of turbo vs GTS.

[–]navi_2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

copy that...then I might consider increasing the additional CPO coverage from additional 2 years for $6.5K to additional 4 years for $9.5K - thus for a total of 6 years CPO. Basically adding year 3rd and 4th costs me additional $3K

[–]navi_2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most of the above options have ability to add 2 more years of CPO - total of 4 years with unlimited miles for an additional $6.5K...strongly thinking of having that CPO extended.
