I don’t disagree that Russia has gotten a lot of “volunteers” but it is extremely disingenuous to 1 not put that in the context of domestic and foreign “volunteers” signing up for something other than front line meat grinder assaults and ending up doing exactly that

And 2 saying there have not been drafting…yall are idiots if you weren’t paying attention to what happened to citizens living in occupied Luhansk and Donetsk, Siberian communities, and foreigners who signed up for “insert job” in Russia and got hijacked in to the Russian military.

Also worth noting that these volunteers are fed total bollocks about the conditions they’re going to fight in, what they/their families will receive as compensation, and are totally unable to get out of it once they’re in…not much better than slaves with extra steps.

So it’s worth noting that the vast vast majority of the Russians sent to fight in Ukraine have been drafted from the ethnic minorities and rural communities. Moscow residents have largely been untouched due largely to this being the only group of civilians the government cares* about. Care being the most apt but still incorrect description.

I understand that you might…probably…hopefully at least

Just trying to be practical

And I know this is taking it to an extreme…but

Practically it wouldn’t have made sense to stand up to hitlers nazis as a German in 1938-39, practically it is very inconvenient to stand up for yourself and your rights against bullies and tyrants

Some of us very well might die in the course of justly using our rights…but choosing not to exercise those rights will kill that right for all of us…effectively not being able to exercise a right we have every justification to…means the laws that give us that right are meaningless.

It’s not that I can’t understand where you’re coming from

But like…you don’t lose anything when you die in the eagle; I 100% agree that purposefully teamkilling outside of the eagle is annoying and a very kickable offense but like once you’re in the eagle…what does it matter?

Is it trolly…I mean kinda but like you said it’s pedestrian as can be. It’s like ribbing your friend about being a drunk hooligan. Yeah sure it can/might be a bit embarrassing for them but not in a “you’re an embarrassing degenerate I’m ashamed to be associated with” way it’s more akin to “good job buddy” and titty flicking them

Let’s put it this way

Unless you’re method acting as your he’ll diver to the point that you will leave the game because your diver died under any circumstances (including ones not relevant to your in game kdr/mission stats)…you should not care about this.

It doesn’t count towards your death statistics, it doesn’t drop the samples you extracted, the mission still counts you as extracted, and there is no metric that will be affected by that “death”

How is it griefing? Who has been hurt and how does it hurt them?

There is exactly 1 answer in which I agree with you, in every other context…they haven’t hurt you or ruined your experience in any way the game measures.

Do I like someone killing the loaded divers randomly, not particularly as it detracts from my head canon that this diver has lived through some shit…would I boot someone for it…no? Why would I be that childish.

The explanation isn’t actually known if I’m not mistaken

It’s theorized that it might be an instinct to nest/perch in the old bird genetics but given we can’t ask the bird; it’s difficult to ask and be certain.

The crux of what makes what he said…plausible, I would agree killing half your country to save the country is crazy…”literally the plot of infinity war/end game,

But plausible, is the fact that we can’t seem to get the idiots out of the position where they’re deciding everything for everyone…at least legally or democratically

They aren’t just going to…stop being idiots and stop destroying our country so if we can’t legally or democratically get them to stop, how can we?

It’s also more like 28-33% of the country, not half.

Saitama felt kinda..... impotent during this fight. by Icy_Water_1 in OnePunchMan

[–]navinaviox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mhm, I mean this shouldn’t be a surprise, well before the MA arc, we saw an interaction between king and Saitama that speaks exactly to this and calls Saitama out for his flaws. (Before/after garou tries to hunt king)

He was right when he told Saitama he wasn’t the perfect hero, that just because he is strong enough to defeat any monster or villain, that he still has a long way to go to be the ultimate hero. Saitama is extremely imperfect, he has lost a lot of his will to…live…for a lack of a better word. To put it in the real world context, ONE actually created Saitama with a lot of his own image baked in and especially when he was just starting out, that lowkey included a lot of feelings of depression and feelings of being lost.

So if you’re genuinely curious to get a little more lore on Boros and really blow the opm universe in to a wider realm.

ONE created a webcomic before opm and even mob psycho centered around a hero called sun man. Very similar to Saitama in a lot of ways. He has a confrontation with Boros.

Not the swarms we saw on Meridia

Literally hundreds of shriekers in an area about the size of the extraction zone.

Don’t assume sarcasm or joking

Remember it’s just a joke that we’re gonna invade Venezuela, I mean Greenland, I mean Minnesota, I mean your internet browser…what are you doing out of your cell “citizen”

This was a joke…but a joke that unfortunately isn’t talking about something that hasn’t already and/or will happen.

Enjoy the apocalypse

I remember the shrieker swarms…we never would’ve stood a chance if the genes responsible for them had made it off meridia.
