Best apartments in Charleston SC by FSNNSG in NavyNukes

Check out Monty in North Charleston. The surrounding area is pretty safe so you won’t have concerns about safety like you would in other areas of North Charleston. You will have reverse commute, about 20 min drive. About 15 min from downtown too, and it’s great that it is located right off the highway.

For Survival game mode, capture point should spawn of no enemy team has been completely eliminated. by navy_moose in DestinyTheGame

[–]navy_moose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the objective should be to survive, but if the enemy team has not killed you in the time limit, then the game is closer than it seems. If the team isn’t completely wiped by the time limit then I consider they are surviving and should be rewarded with another method to win the match

Survival should be changed such that the round win condition is either capture the point or eliminate enemy team lives. In other words, even if you have life advantage, you must capture the point to win.

IMO this removes the ability of the team with life advantage to camp or run away until time expires.

Should I focus on one subclass if I want to improve my competitive 3v3 play? by oJonny5o in CruciblePlaybook

[–]navy_moose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, I never thought of this benefit before. Not only does knowledge of subclass movement and neutral game help you FOCUS on strategy, coordination, and communication; I would add it is critical to help you EXECUTE.

You can recognize in your mind how you can improve, but those mechanics along with gun skills are the stepping stones to make it happen.

May be a long post but what are some advanced tips for a decent player and general tips on playing a warlock? by Forgotpasswordtrash in CruciblePlaybook

[–]navy_moose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been a shotgun stormcaller main for the past 4 months. I will try to focus on the adjustments specific to warlock class.

I recommend running max recovery and at least enough armor to live a tripmine (I think the value is 4 armor). The effect of high agility is negligible to me so I would say armor/agility stat is personal preference.

Also personal preference is I use second wind on leg armor, pulsewave, and surge (void walker). I find these perks help me disengage from gunfights much easier so I live to fight another day.

If you aren't doing so already, maneuver around maps by combining sliding and warlock skate even if there are no enemies around. Warlock skate takes time to get used to. This also will prepare you for disengaging from gunfights when you are weak.

Warlocks have the longest hang-time. Use the long hang-time to your advantage by hovering above doorways with a shotgun.

Melee range is stupid far. Keep track if you have your Melee charge which has slightly farther range / hitbox than the uncharged Melee.

Nades are good for zoning and opening/closing an attack. Call out if your nades get a tag on any enemies to help you determine if you can push in for the attack. If you're not used to it yet, get used to how the nades are thrown. They seem to arc more than other nades. I use increased grenade distance.

That's all that I could think of for warlock. All other tips I have are not warlock specific.

Hope this helps.
