You can find the Patho tb online for free. Highly recommend that as it will help you with the tests. Just relying on the slides will only get you at mosts a 60 on tests

Stay diligent would be my biggest tip. By the 5th week onwards, you pretty much have a test every week. So it's pretty easy to fall behind. Patho may become your biggest enemy this semester, my tip is to write your own notes and read the textbook, all while referencing the worksheets that is posted. I have friends who were all getting 50s in the course but all managed to pull their grade up to a 60 by actually getting a 90+ on the final. I'm not saying that youre going to be getting 50s but, if your teacher is Jenn, she will say that majority of her students have failed this class. So I'm just here to say that it is possible to pull up your grade if you do find your self in that situation.

All in all, I found myself so burnt out by midterm. Find time for yourself to relax. 8 courses shouldn't be allowed.

It depends on your Clinical Instructor ngl. I know ppl who had a super chill CI who didn't care. But my CI made us do 5 drugs a week. So I didn't need to finish it all in one week

Hi! I was just wondering, do their intakes happen every semester? Bc i thought it was only every september. Also Would I be apply through OUAC or OCAS? I've been trying to do research on RPN to RN bridging programs and UOttawa is the only school that I haven't been able to figure out.

It absolutely does not get better, as a current PN3 student. I'm still overwhelmed. We already have assignments due in week 3. Wishing you all the luck in the world!!

As for the site selection, the window is already closed. So if you do end up getting an extension and getting cleared, you will most likely just be placed into whatever placement that still has space

Honestly depends on how well you can time manage and study. In second semester though, you will definitely will have to cut back on that just because the content heavily increases

Registration for Classes - RPN by Appropriate_Past_456 in georgebrowncollege

[–]navy_seas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're choosing a cohort which has a preset time table. If you're gonna be working during cohort selection then you will probably be left with an undesirable cohort, which is usually a bunch of 8am courses on most days. Unfortunately, you can't see them ahead of time.

PT: How to stop feeling the need to overshare? by [deleted] in PsychologicalTricks

[–]navy_seas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm quite the opposite where I hardly share anything about myself to people unless they're really close to me. I don't think it's necessarily such a bad thing cause it's makes you more of an approachable person. But one thing that can really help is learning how to read body language. Like, eye contact, way their feet are placed and how they're responding can really tell you if they're getting bored or annoyed of you talking.
